ABOUT KIM SINGER

 

 

Originally from St. Louis, Missouri, Kim currently resides in Dallas, Texas with her husband Caleb and their adorable puppy, Norah. She recently graduated with a degree in Commercial Music from Trevecca Nazarene University (May 2016) in Nashville, Tennessee and is now learning the music scene in the great state of Texas. With many years of training in voice, songwriting, and guitar, Kim has received great recognition from her debut EP, Up Ahead (released in 2013), Christmas single, Cold Christmas Eve (December ’13) and recent single, Constant Conversation (October ’14).

 

For Kim, it wasn’t until 2013 she started dabbling with her own creation of songs. Her songs became the only way she felt she could truly express the deep thoughts and feelings that lined her heart and mind.

 

Kim combines pop sensibilities with a flare of country and easy listening. With cited influences being Dave Barnes, Sara Bareilles and The Weepies, Kim incorporates quirky but polished excellence in all of her previous releases.

 

Since her debut EP, Kim has been featured on The Dave Glover Show, 89.1 The Wood - Crossroads Music, RealLifeSTL magazine along with playing venues at The Demo, Firebird, Blind Tiger in St. Louis as well as The Basement, Bluebird Cafe and numerous coffee shops and writer’s rounds in Nashville. She is looking forward to the new adventure that awaits her in Dallas and is excited to be releasing new music very soon!
